My Teacher, My Hero

What comes in your mind when you hear the word "hero"? I'm sure many of you will think about the people we have watched on the television shows. A person with supernatural powers who can fly, who is super strong, fast, invincible, and many more. But we all know in reality, those doesn't exist. Some will also think to those persons who fought for our country and to those who sacrificed their lives just to save the lives of many people.
In our generation today we can hardly see those personalities to consider ones a hero. But the question is, do people need those personalities or super powers to consider them a hero? For me, they don't need anymore those extraordinary abilities. A person who can just tell me what's right from wrong. Who can teach me how to have good manners. And who is willing to give his/her time just to mold me to be a better person is what I'm looking for to be call a hero. And those personalities seems to fit just exactly what teachers are doing.
Nowadays, we can hardly appreciate the good things our teachers are doing for us. But did you not think that without them there will be no experts and professionals that will exist? Without them our knowledge will be nothing. So have the gratitude of thanking them which can be also by means of having respect, being honest and using those things which they have been taught to us in good things or in good ways.
It may seem that sometimes they always yell at us when we did wrong things. But always remember that considering them as our second parents and for our own sake, they just also want us to be a good and better person.

I SALUTE YOU

From my past, i have seen the fruits of her hardships. The sacrifices she made when they were just little have come up now to be worth dying for.She gave all to her children just to satisfy their needs. The older sister of my mother and a mother to four children, Mrs Leticia Querubin.
Way back 1902, an unexpected thing happened to the husband of aunt Letty, Emmanuel Querubin, died due to a mild stroke. Therefore, she have to raise their family alone. She worked day and night just to sustain their everyday needs. She did not let her children suffer the same thing she had when she was still young too, not to finish studies. Knowing that God is always there besides her, she didn't lose hope and have faith with Him. She had also encountered so much problems but did not surrender instead she fought it with her determination to raise her family. All of this have come up to be worthful. Her children did not failed her. They graduated and finished their studies in college. Ms. Mary Ann Querubin, the oldest of them is now a nurse and working in America. The second and third one have finish the same course, Bachelor of Science and Accountancy. Both working on a company. Mrs. Emely Tesoro, the second one works in Manila and Mr. Jeffret Querubin, the third one works in Vigan Metrobank. Their youngest, Mr Emil Querubin is still studying with the course of Fine Arts in the University of the Northern Philippines.
With their own personalities, all of them have come up to be talented. Accomplishing their goals in life even without the guide of their father was a great achievement of their mother. They gave importance of what their mother can only give to them without any complain. All the sacrifices made by their mother have come up not to be worthless. That is why i called her my modern hero.
Always remember that if there's a will there's a way. If we have the determination, we can always find the path of method to do it. For whatever that may happen in your life, always be strong and to whatever kind of problems you may encounter, don't lose hope. Have faith in God, He will always be there for you.

Another Life, Another Journey...

Our 1st Grading in ICT IV was about to end. A lot of works have been accomplished. A total of 4 posts in our blogs have been made during our 1st Grading. We’ve learned a lot with this subject like the Internet Timeline, Internet Architectures, Philippine Pioneers, Software Pioneers, About the Blog and About the Web Browser.
We have been challenge to made a blog and post there all of our outputs. Creating a blog was easy but creating our outputs to be post there was quite hard. Especially I’m not good in making essays. But still I have to do it. Therefore I have been trained to do these things on my on. I have to write my reactions about a certain topic and at the same time coping with my lessons in other subjects. And I know even its hard we will learn more with these subject that can enrich our knowledge not only about the concepts of computer but also a way to reach our goals someday.
1St Grading is about to end and 2nd Grading is coming. Another head ache again for sure. But I’ve learned a lot during our 1st Grading and I know I will learn more on those coming days in school. Even it’s hard to be a student, it is always been fun seeing your classmates, friends and teachers everyday. All of our sacrifices just to learn will not going to be worthless instead a key to our success. As a 4th Year student I will treasure and make my remaining days in our school valuable.

P-Noy's SONA to Pinoy

One of the most awaited events especially the parents, students and the government officials is the State of the Nations Address or known as SONA. It is being delivered by a leader to his/her countrymen. Last monday, July 25,2011 we have witness the SONA of our respected President Benigno Aquino Jr. Just like him, a leader will discuss all that he/she have done on the first year of service. And including what happened, what is happening, and what may happen with the country with him/her as the leader.
With the SONA that has been delivered by our President Benigno Aquino Jr. to us, I considered his first year a good start for him. Because I can see there's a progress being done in our country. And his been trying to change the bad image of the government to the Filipinos by correcting the mistakes of the last administration.
Hopefully, he will continue his good start and will not change as time goes by. And him as the president of the Philippines, we will rise from poverty. I hope he will be the inspiration for us , Filipinos that "if there's a will, there's a way."

BREAST MILK THE BEST MILK FOR INFANTS

This days most mother relies on milks which they believe is the best for their children. Milks which they have seen on televisions or which just like other mother buys in stores. Without knowing that all nutrition they were looking is within them already. Their own breast milk.
A normal way of providing young infants with the nutrients they need for development and healthy growth is by breastfeeding .This can also protect young infants against some childhood illnesses and infections which are common. This maybe done within 6 months for those women who don't have any health problems. And for those who have health problems, it may be better not to give breastfeed because it may cause infections to the baby or infant.
Try to make use of what we have than for those which is in demand. With this we can also save money and at the same time better than the other one. Just be sure to use it safely. As long as we are sure that it is safe and could not cause harm to us. Just like breastfeeding which is the best way to ensure a good health for infants or babies.

MAKE CHANGE

Dear Mr. President,

          Greetings!
This is an opportunity for me to write a letter to a well known respected person just like you sir. I am very pleasure because this is my first time to write a letter to a person not even related to me.
There were questions I've thought and probably the best person who can answer it would be only you. First, how will you assure us that there will be no corruption that will happen in the government? Second, what will you do to assure us that your fellow elected officials will not also corrupt the money that will be given to them? And lastly, what are you planning to do to the jobless people?. These were the questions which i would be thankful if you are willingly to answer.
Good day and God bless you sir.

                                                                                                      Truly yours,
                                                                                                      Allen Joseph Manikan
