Merry Christmas!

Everyone is busy preparing decorations, gifts and foods. No one wants to miss this very rare occasion. Malls are almost full of people buying various gifts to be given to their friends and love ones. Christmas Day, the most anticipated occasion comes to be one of the most awaiting of all the people in a year. It is said to be the birth of Jesus Christ celebrated in every 25^th of December.

But, what was once a time to be celebrated the birth of a savior has somehow turned into a season of stress, traffic jams, and shopping lists. Many of us are left with presents to return, looming debt that will take months to pay off. None of us wanted Christmas to turn like this so why not spend less and give more which is the true essence of Christmas.

The true essence of Christmas relies not on the gifts which command to spend more but on the love and unity that each of us should build. Spend less on gifts and more on relationships.

Climate Change

“That everyone must held accountable for their actions” a line which I first heard in the movie, Law Abiding Citizen which I considered to be related to the Climate Change that we are now facing as the most terrifying crisis in the whole world that we, the people made it exist is also the one who is responsible to it and now the cause of death of every single person even the innocent ones.

Global Warming is the increase of Earth's average surface temperature due to effect of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels or from deforestation, which trap heat that would otherwise escape from Earth. This is a type of greenhouse effect. The Earth's climate is changing, and changing at a rate that has exceeded most scientific forecasts. Some families and communities have already started to suffer from the negative side of climate change, forced to leave their homes in search of a new beginning.

Climate change is changing our economy, health and communities in diverse ways. Many people are now making a move to do something to make our future better and to save humanity in danger that the Global Warming may cause. They are now begging for the cooperation of the human race to fight against the primary cause of death, Global Warming. This make take a long time but still can save many lives of people and will help to build again the dreams of every people especially the kids to have a better place to live in, fresher air to breathe in and a place called paradise. 

Together We Can Make A Difference

            Never give up. There is no such thing as an ending, just a new beginning.

            It is never too late to make a difference. Stand, look around you. You can still make a difference to what you can see. If it may seems okay, then make it more beautiful.  If it may seems to bother you, try to think of something you may do to make it more attractive. If you make a difference to something, it does not always means that the thing seems to be worthless but you have just a feeling that it could be better and useful.

In order to make a difference, there is always a change and in order to make change we must have a goal or an objective for us to go on and never surrender. In our world today there were lots of things we wanted to have a difference.  But first we must always start with ourselves. How can you make a difference if you can’t even make a difference in yourself? Think about it and you will realize that everything you want to change must always start with you. 

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Nowadays, unfair treating of people has come to be the problem of having equal rights and the main reason to lose an opportunity. Using their powers to get what they want is easy for them because of their positions. But a great lose of chance in life for others who are just in a low class of living.

Equal rights and opportunities lead to improved health outcomes for women and girls. Discrimination towards women and girls, or what is known as gender-based discrimination, is one of the most pervasive human rights violations. It severely limits the ability of women, girls and the communities they live in to protect and promote their health.

For that, a law has been entrusted to lessen this case. Many organizations have cooperated with these. Though, their main goal and main priority is to keep people in touch to everyone as they have a fair treatment. These will make people believe that there’s still hope for them to reach their goals in life and have a better life. With these, we may come to be united for these will be a progress for all. Nothing is more important than to have a success life and imagine yourself years ago and now a wealthy man with his dream come true.

Another chapter has been completed. 2^nd grading ended as sembreak comes. A lot of works again have been accomplished. In our ICT IV, another four posts and a total of 8 exercises have been made. During those days, we have learned about Tags, HTML Tags, Attribute Tags and many more.

With these, we we’re able to display pages on the browser. By steps, we figured out how to do it. We have explored how these tags work on the browser. Every tag has their own function like the HTML Tags which are use to mark-up HTML elements. We also learned that tags can also have attributes. Attributes can have additional information about the HTML elements on your page. These are just some of the learning we accomplished during our 2^nd Grading in ICT IV. For sure these will help us to understand more about the browser and I hope I will learn more to the next 3^rd and 4^th Grading Period.

2^nd Grading ended as I expected. For me 1^st Grading is easier than the 2^nd Grading because there were more things that have been made during our 2^nd Grading. It really caused me a head ache especially for the projects that have to be passed before the Periodical Test. But still, I have to do it and I did it. I’m very happy for I did my best during my 2^nd Grading. I am contented and therefore I wish I will learn more during the next 3^rd and 4^th Grading Periods.

Promoting Digital Literacy Through English Proficiency

               

               English is the universal language. It is very important for us. With these we can easily communicate to people around the world. But being able to know how to read, speak and write in English is not just enough. You must be very good at it. So, you have to be proficient in English.

                English proficiency is the ability to speak and read or write in English very well. To be considered truly, one should have advance abilities in the areas of communication. Communicating with people to get your message across requires you to keep your message clear and concise. To communicate effectively with others, learn how to get the point of your message across by using the most effective and appropriate words. The use of nonverbal gestures such as facial expression, posture and distance, is a part of being an effective communicator. Using a pleasant voice and keeping the volume of your voice at appropriate level lets the listener know that you are calm. Good communicator skills take practice and effort. Being an effective communicator is an important skill to acquire so that you can communicate well. Making sure that you speak in a manner that conveys the intent of your message in the correct manner is the goal of a good communicator.

                With this knowledge in English you can work more efficiently especially with those who possess the same knowledge and skills. Also we can promote Digital Literacy.

                Now, that we are in the modern world. Almost all of the gadgets are high-tech and invented everyday or every month. People intend to work than to do nothing. They’re using their time wisely in doing or creating new devices or equipments that could benefit the human race. With the help of being proficient in English, we can easily tell or communicate with other if we have to share something of what we’re thinking. You may also be an ordinary people but still you can have your opinions that may help them improve what they did. Digital Literacy helps people communicate and keep up with social trends. It helps people in contact with other, pass timely information and sell goods and services.

Chemergy: Chemistry and Science Clubbing in Synergy

                

                Gadgets, appliances, and equipments. Every corner of the world, you can see these things. Different types, different sizes, and different brands. But do you ever wonder where these things came from? How are these things made?

                Look around you. As you may see, we are now in the modern world. High technology covers up the crisis we are now facing. Through the advance research the scientists are now doing, works are now done easier and faster. This is all through the help of science. With these, our lives became better compared to the past generations. One of the best ever created is medicine. Chemistry, an area of science have a great part of doing these medicines. Through the information gathered in a computer, Chemists were able to produced chemicals such as with molecules that are just right size and shape.

                And as you may see, Science is really great. We are very lucky that science has existed and with this, today nothing is impossible to human race when it comes to inventions.
